Señorío de Villarrica
2 hectares planted in 1911.
18 days of fermentation and maceration in new French oak barrels using pump-overs as extraction method. Malolactic fermentation in new French oak barrels. Bottling without mechanical processes or filtration. Aging for 24 months in fine-grain, 225 litre French oak barrels, with medium-high toasting.
Intense layer of bright dark claret. Unctuous in the glass and in the mouth. Elegant, intense aroma of undergrowth and ripe black berries in prefect harmony with the contribution of hints of chocolate, tobacco and spices in grains.
All-enveloping in its passage through the mouth with a long after-taste, leaving a final rounded sensation of tannin and notes of dry figs. A unique sensation. Due to its natural wine-making process, we recommend that you decant the wine before drinking. Unbeatable with high quality red meats, game dishes and grilled fish. Serve at 16ºC.
